David grew up in Israel-Palestine, that cradle of Western civilization where history has woven a rich tapestry of cultures and kinship, traditions, and faith that have left a storehouse of impressions for David's art. Along with these, are those of his present surroundings in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, nestled between the mountains and forests of West Virginia and the Blue Ridge.
