Maureen Sloan of Mutt ’n Katt

I began making stuffed bears many years ago. My company was called "Bears & Company." I had a loyal base of customers, but after some time many of them had collected most of my work. I began working on new stuffed animal patterns. Eventually, I decided to make the focus of my work, stuffed cats and dogs. I changed the name of my business to "Mutt ‘n Katt." I love my work. Owning my own business affords me the luxury of working at home. I enjoy creating each of my animals and especially enjoy adding the detail to their faces. The animals really "come alive" when their eyes, mouths and noses are added!
