Petra and Michael are the owners of Remsen Studios. Petra, who is from Germany, where she studied at the fashion design faculty in Hamburg, is inspired by European designs. She gives her pieces simplicity with elegance. "We use 22 karat gold which we fuse to the surface of porcelain. It has a wonderful rich color and sparkles beautifully in the light. Working with porcelain is my favorite medium. I love the pure material. The possibilities of creativity are great." Combined with other pure elements like freshwater pearls and semi precious stones, her jewelry is one of a kind. "I love the look, the combination between matte and shiny gold." A clean line, which fits every outfit and every age. "I like to wear my pieces either dressy with a black suit or casual with jeans and a sweater. They always look good."
