In 1985, Beckie and John Kiever formed Cross Eyed Sheep. Beckie, a self taught Fiber Artist, was convinced that table linens, a sadly neglected utilitarian product, were a novel area to combine art and practical design. Table linens that combine aesthetic and useful qualities would truly be unique. After durability and market testing, a unique synergy between art and weaving science emerged. Beckie then trained John, and together they make up Cross Eyed Sheep. John, an engineer and weaver, has modified our looms and weaving techniques to produce the volumes necessary.
