I started making jewelry 16 years ago while enduring a nine-month European style apprenticeship for gold & platinum smithing. I continued to pursue my metals career by managing a custom jewelry gallery for the next nine years while starting to teach myself how to weld steel. I started welding & sculpting with steel and stainless as a hobby and before I knew it, it was a full time part of my own business. Next step was to venture out and begin my new purpose in life, Dave Hardell Jeweler/Sculptor. I can’t imagine ever doing anything other than creating 3 dimensional artwork.
