"My art career started fourteen years ago. Never having taken art in school, my learning has been a process of trial and error. After kiln blow-ups and glaze melt down – I wouldn’t change my journey for anyone. I was never told about negative space or you can’t use purple and orange in the same sentence, so I have no boundaries. My art has been evolving not annually, but daily. I can’t wait to wake up and get to work. Somedays I start at 4 a.m. to finish at 7 p.m. There is nothing more exciting than the creative process for me. The ideas fill my head so much that sometimes I think I may burst." "The thrill for me now is when I’m at a show or opening and someone comes up to me and tells me they love one of my pieces in their home and how much joy it brings them. All I want is for my collectors to continue loving what I do and appreciate and understand that they have fulfilled my dreams."
