Donanne M. Dean

In 1992 Ibex Fleecewear of Cape Elizabeth, Maine started designing fun-ctional outdoor activewear for all ages. Donanne Dean (design student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City) and Steve Hinman (competitive freestyle skier) have been skiing together since 1987. Out of necessity and creative inspiration they designed several garments made of Maldon Mills Polartec fleece. They found that the combination of their fun designs and the revolutionary Polartec climate control fabric was a match in high demand. We draft, design, and produce all of our products in our Cape Elizabeth Studio. We practice being environmentally conscious by using as much Polartec recycled that we can. Polartec recycled has two plastic bottles in every yard helping to reduce consumer waste.
