Sid Block
For over twenty years, this designer/ craftsman has been selling his jewelry throughout this country and Israel. Sid uses a combination of pure copper and jeweler’s brass to create wearable works of art. He has also developed a three step enameling process that allows the color of the metals to subtly mix with the enamel to form a ''black hills gold look''. These pieces are soldered by hand, in limited numbers, using high-quality nickel-silver pinbacks and sterling silver earring posts. Also incorporated are seed pearls, rhinestones, and crystals. Sid's work is a contemporary rendition of classic and ethnic designs combining the worlds oldest traditions of metal working with his own artistic vision.
